It’s time to quiet the loud motorcycles

I was driving home from work yesterday, and I was behind this obnoxiously loud motorcycle. For the record, it was a Harley Davidson. The rider chose not to drive his bike at steady speed, but rather gun-it each time he was slowing down too much. Why? I’m guessing so he show everyone how loud his bike is? Maybe he’s compensating for something? Either way, he ended up about two blocks ahead of me, and I could still hear him. He went OVER A HILL, and I could still hear him. What if everyone drove these bikes? It would be one loud world.
This is been something that’s been bothering me for quite some time. First, let me say, I love the sound of muscle cars and Harley Davidson’s. They’re powerful and they sound mean as hell, but why can these people get away with having them? Cops don’t seem to care about the loud motorcycles, but they do care about the young kid with the pimped out Honda Civic that sounds like a weak-ass rice-burner.
You can say, “If it’s too loud, you’re too old”, but I live by a hill, and the people with loud vehicles just have gun it up that hill. It doesn’t matter if it’s the middle of the day or 4:30 in the morning. I’m tired of it!
