Dear XM Radio,

Monday, August 28th, 2006

a letter a friend sent to xm radio…

I don’t like writing comment emails to simply complain, but instead of
complaining to all of my friends about XM Satellite Radio, I have decided to
let you know directly how unhappy I have been with your services.

I had been so excited to receive XM Radio for Christmas, XM was something
that I had wanted for so long and I finally got it! I signed up for a two
year agreement, paid up front and loved the customer service tech. that
helped me get set up.

Within the last eight months I have become very disappointed with the
direction your company has taken. I work in the advertising/marketing field
and the main reason I got satellite radio was so I didn’t have to listen to
commercials. I hate commercials! Now every channel is interrupted at least
twice every hour with a commercial (Go to my pc or petcare rx or a stupid
diet commercial) Every channel, every day, every hour!

I am PAYING for your service, music, sports, talk radio not for commercials.
If making more money was the issue, you should have charged more for your
service not sold out to the highest bidders.

I have heard from friends that Sirius Radio doesn’t play commercials and I
have been seriously considering leaving XM and going over to Sirius.

I am very disappointed in your business decisions and until I get some
answers from you, I will continue to complain to all of my friends that XM
is not the way to go, rather choose Sirius for your satellite radio needs.
